Fear Ascended, UE5.8 and Important Server Updates
Fear Ascended is starting, the major UE5.8 update is approaching, and the Giganotosaurus is getting some important changes as well. Here are the key updates relevant to our EonArk cluster.
Fear Ascended Starts on October 28
The Halloween event will run from October 28 until November 11, 2026.
It will include a variety of event creatures, new Ghost variants, skins, Chibis, and Halloween decorations.
Major UE5.8 Update on November 5
Wildcard is currently planning to release the major Unreal Engine 5.8 upgrade on November 5.
According to the latest information, around 99.9% of mods have already been successfully recooked and validated for the new engine version.
Even so, an update of this size may temporarily cause issues with individual mods, servers, or game clients. We will monitor the cluster closely and apply any necessary updates as soon as they are available and considered stable.
Giganotosaurus TLC and Enigmasaur
Also scheduled for November 5 are the major Giganotosaurus TLC update and the new Enigmasaur.
What Does This Mean for EonArk?
Around November 5, there may be short maintenance periods or temporary issues caused by server, client, or mod updates.
Our goal is to apply all necessary updates as quickly as possible while avoiding unnecessary downtime.
